May 19th ABIA Australian Bridal Industry Awards night..I came third in Queensland in makeup artistry and top ten in hair styling! Thanks to all my lovely brides for voting for me

May 31st  Up nice and early for Hair and makeup styling for Jackie, from New Zealand a competitor in the national body figure competition on the gold coast – lots of black and silver eye makeup to stand out amongst all the fantastic tanned muscles.

June 4th Character makeup on David Maher from lead point Mortgage Services – had to make him look like Sir Les Patterson. Great fun!! even gave him a weeping cold sore and huge pimple – David was a scream and really brought the character to life wandering around the convention centre chatting up the ladies. Laughed myself stupid!

July 19th Bridal Expo at the Convention Centre Broadbeach. Designed all the hair and makeup for the models in the fashion parade. The expo was a great success. Hi to all the future brides I met on the day!

September 11th Spent the weekend in Sydney for the first Makeup artist expo..It was awesome meeting up with so many people I know and attending really inspiring lectures from international artists who are leaders in their field.

September 15th Shooting tvc's for Queensland newspapers win a merc comp. Did makeup, hair and wardrobe styling for 8 characters,their alter egos –  Audrey Hepburn in a LBD, Richard Gere in navy dress whites from an officer and a gentleman, Scarlett Johannson character in slinky red dress and James Bond in a tux. Was an awesome job.

October 2nd Have been making acomplia generic little chin wigs and sticking on eyelashes for the latest shave or colour your hair campaign upside down talking chin characters for the leaukaemia foundation.did Gordon ramsay, the queen, a warewolf ,princess leah,two diff newsreaders and a viking opera singer complete with little helmet with horns! was lots of hard work hand making all the wigs but hugely creatively satisfying. Had a blast!

October 31st  Did a fun halloween makeup for Chrissy – Malice in horror land – a kind of Alice gone feral..lots of cuts and blood effects and a dead looking Alice!

December 7th Spent the week at Couran Cove resort working on tv show rexona Australia's greatest athlete looking after styling for Mark Baretta and Tom Williams from Channel Seven and Ricky Ponting. Lovely, lovely guys to work with!! It was really hot and we were all sweaty and covered in sunscreen, sand and insect repellant! (who says tv is glamorous?) watching all the elite athletes doing their thing up close was also very exciting!

January 5th 2010 Did a tvc for sunny farm eggs creating a big old moustache(aka Ron Burgundy) on a lovely actor.Looked hilarious!

February 2nd Week long wardrobe buying for tvc reading to children..huge amount of wardrobe needed for lots of cute kids!

February8th Started teaching again at Beauty Therapy Training Australia at Airport Central..another year of teaching budding makeup artists and beauty therapists how to do makeup and also some do my specialised makeup course..blood and guts and wounding..there's nothing like a good bit of blood pumping and splatter to make me smile!!

March 3rd Tvc hair ,makeup and wardrobe for the wedgie – a new fast ride at whitewater world..looks very scary!!

March 7th Bridal expo at broadbeach. designed all the hair and makeup for the fashion parade was influenced by eastern cultures this year and used crystals on the models faces. Looked fantastic, when the stage lights hit the dresses and their faces they sparkled and shimmered and became one with the dresses..very happy my designs worked !! Thanks to my gorgeous students who worked hard created my looks and learned heaps!! Well done girls!
